Our Story
A few moments from our journey — from where we started to where we're headed.
Jenna & Shrey met as everyone met people in 2020: online. Jenna was newly arrived in Washington, DC, for her Master’s program, and together, Jenna learned to love the city while exploring it with Shrey. They explored museums and discovered favorite restaurants, starting to build memories that they still cherish.
Jenna & Shrey’s love of travel was clear from the beginning, although they still travel as much individually as they do together! On their adventures, they have shown each other new places and bonded over deciding where to eat and how much walking will be required.
While coming from opposite sides of the globe, Jenna & Shrey deepened their connection in visiting each other’s hometowns in California and India. Jenna got to introduce Shrey to camping in the mountainous deserts of Southern California and Shrey led Jenna through her first visit to Asia.
On a blustery, cold afternoon in early March, Shrey got down on one knee at the spot where it all began: in front of the Washington Monument in DC, where Jenna & Shrey shared their first date walking along the National Mall. It was the start of a new chapter for Jenna & Shrey, the beginning of a lifetime they look forward to celebrating with you.
